Construction Electrician

Our client, a well-established and professional Electrical Maintenance company within the construction industry, is seeking a seasoned Construction Electrician to join their team.

Please note this role is not suited to candidates from the mining or factory type environment, but rather focused toward candidates with a background in new constructs and renovations on existing buildings, who are able to read drawings, work out Bill Of Quantities, and manage teams on site in a hands-on capacity.

POSITION INFO:

• You will have completed a recognised Trade test as a construction electrician, coupled with 3-5 years working experience in the electrical build environment (3 phase wireman’s license is advantageous).
• You must have proven experience in overall site responsibility in terms of electrical infrastructure and team management on site, be able to effectively evaluate safety conditions and ensure compliance in accordance with legislation and standards.
• Future growth and development opportunities within the company.
• Excellent communication skills in English and computer literacy.
• Candidate should be a self-motivator with excellent leadership abilities. Our client requires someone who can lead a team on site, meet deadlines, and work to the timelines put in place. Understanding of variations is important.
• You will have a valid driver's license, be able to travel, stay away from home for varied lengths of time on projects, and work overtime to ensure deadlines are met.
