The overall purpose of this role is to increase Business Internet LTE, Wireless, Wireless Air and Fibre (FTTB & FTTH) sales in line with the Vodacom Business targets. Work closely with Vodacom Franchisees / Dealers / Partners and their staff to accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Enable the store staff to action a sale. Guide and assist with the sales process from start to end. This individual will be responsible for managing the relationship between the outlet and client through delivery of results against set objectives. They will be responsible for motivating, training, and assisting all sales staff within the retail outlets. In addition, sales targets can be achieved by the Vodacom Business Specialists (VBS) through direct sales & marketing activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience within sales in Telecommunications and experience with a competing ISP
- Diploma/NQF level 5
- Valid Drivers License

- Ensure full Vodacom absolute rules enforced
- Align with Regional Manager and Single Point of Contact on strategy
- Complete the daily team register, training, and sales to be submitted to the RTL
- Capture store visits and sales daily at 15:30 to be submitted to RTL
- Submit monthly travel logs to RTL (100% accuracy)
- Each VBS carries a minimum target of 20 Business Internet and 10 FTTH – subject to change
- Facilitate the order and quotes and fast track the sales orders
- Prepare daily feedback to the RTL on Visits and Sales output
Knowledge Needed to Do the Job Competently:
- Sales and Marketing Certificate/Diploma
- Telecommunications Product Knowledge (Broadband Products, Vodacom Business products)
- Training skills
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity of VPP(Siebel) desired
