Technical Stage Staff

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate all technical equipment for performances, events, and rehearsals, including lighting, sound, and special effects.
2. Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment, ensuring all is in proper working condition.
3. Collaborate with the production team to ensure all technical aspects of performances meet artistic and safety standards.
4. Assist with the load-in and load-out of equipment and set pieces for performances.
5. Work closely with performers and other crew members to ensure seamless execution of performances.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all crew members and performers.
7. Keep detailed records of all technical equipment and supplies, and report any necessary maintenance or replacements.
8. Continuously seek ways to improve technical processes and procedures to enhance the overall performance experience for both crew and guests.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical stage production, preferably in a live performance or event setting.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with lighting, sound, and special effects equipment.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
6. Experience with rigging and operating fly systems is a plus.
7. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
8. Valid passport and ability to travel internationally for extended periods of time.
9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the performance schedule.
