Management Accountant

An ambitious and pioneering UK accountancy firm is enlarging its team in their Cape Town office. They currently have a position for a qualified Professional Accountant (SA) to join as Management Accountant. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the clients and contributing to the growth of the firm. This position offers exposure to challenging projects across various sectors, along with opportunities for personal and professional development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Accurately prepare income tax returns and conduct reconciliations for compliance.
2. Initiate client relationships through initial interactions.
3. Maintain meticulous records and ensure precise data entry.
4. Supervise offshore teams and serve as the primary contact point.
5. Track job progress from start to finish and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
6. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet deadlines.
7. Uphold industry standards and adhere to established procedures.
8. Maintain high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Efficiently manage time and prioritise tasks accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Qualified Professional Accountant (SA), CGMA, or in-progress CIMA
2. Management accounting experience is a requirement
3. Xero proficiency is a requirement

Salary:

1. R420 000 - R480 000 CTC / year
