This role is responsible for the portfolio management of key existing clients that are of significant strategic importance to the organisation by building and maintaining strong relationships.

Viewed as an essential link between the needs of the client and the capabilities of Iress to meet those needs, the client relationship manager ensures that both parties deliver on their contractual commitments, build a mutually beneficial, sustainable relationship and ensure any opportunities for new business within the client portfolio are identified and converted into revenue growth.

Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain client relationships including being a trusted contact point for key decision makers.
2. Engage with clients to understand their overall strategy, business problems and priorities and where we can deliver solutions.
3. Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets that incorporate client retention, and uplift from increased usage and the sale of additional solutions.
4. Achieve agreed activity targets that focus on regular proactive client engagement in line with a structured plan.
5. Apply the Iress commercial ways of working in all activities including engaging with clients and prospects via our chosen methodology, process and tool-set.
6. Produce and implement successful client management plans.
7. Lead commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for clients.
8. Work with clients to implement and ensure adoption of Iress products.
9. Support the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions to the market by establishing clear adoption and account plans.
10. Act as a point of escalation for client support teams and assist with the management of tickets to ensure optimal client experience is maintained.
11. Build a network within the industry including clients and prospects and contribute to opportunities to promote Iress.

Qualifications

1. Strong Investment Management industry experience and knowledge.
2. Commercial awareness and able to contribute to broader business conversations.
3. A natural networker and strategic relationship builder - internally and externally.
4. Proven track record of delivering against targets.
5. Experienced with working cross-functionally to bring about the right results for clients.
6. Able to communicate in a clear, concise and unambiguous manner.
7. The ability to engender quality across teams including in client communications and presentations.
8. A modern thinker, looking to the future while ensuring practical, commercial outcomes are achieved in the present.
9. Excellent negotiation skills and organisational skills.
10. Able to coordinate and manage large projects.
11. Strong commercial and financial acumen.
