Internal Sales Representative – to Support International Sales Growth
Woodline Shade, a world leading manufacturer of shade solutions based in Jeffrey’s Bay, is looking for an internal sales representative to support its international sales expansion.
You are the right person if you enjoy working with and helping customers choose the right product. You take pride in ensuring customers receive the best sales service. You enjoy making sales. You are good at multi-tasking from arranging shipping of containers to supporting the CEO at international trade shows.
Key accountabilities:
Provide product and sales information to international and local customers.
Quote, follow up and secure sales with international and local customers.
Place sales orders on the factory, track orders and invoice customers.
Arrange for shipping and delivery of orders to international customers.
Liaise with international and local customers keeping them updated and answering their questions.
Perform key account management of allocated customers to ensure retention of customers.
Look for sales opportunities within and outside of existing customer base.
Support the CEO in sales activities to international customers (including attending international shows).
Provide administrative support where required.
Requirements:
At least five years’ experience in internal or external sales.
Post matric qualification (diploma or equivalent).
Computer skills – Outlook, Word, Excel.
Strong verbal and written communications skills (English and Afrikaans).
Ability to learn technical aspects of a product.
Strong sense of urgency and able to multi-task.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
Experience in arranging international logistics (advantageous but not a requirement).
Willing to travel.
Drivers License.
Remuneration:
R25,000 basic + commission
