Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Climate and Health Epidemiology
3 YEARS (Fixed Term)
The SAMRC’s Environment and Health Research Unit (E&HRU) requires an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The position is associated with a three-year research project CliMMetA (Climate, Muscle function and Metabolomics in Africa), funded by the Medical Research Foundation. This is a multi-site project across three countries - The Gambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. The individual will be jointly supervised by the study co-principal investigators from SAMRC in South Africa and the University of Bristol in the UK. To meet the requirements of this post, we require a person with a qualification in epidemiology/public health/biostatistics/medical statistics.

The value for the fellowship is R350 000.00 to R400 000.00 per annum depending on experience and does not include benefits.
