Job description

We are looking for a dynamic self-motivated individual with proven business acumen, meticulous, accurate, methodical and systematic personality type, and with at least 5 years of experience in facilities management including facilities agreements (ie lease agreements, asset management, maintenance, fleet management, office cleaning etc) - to take on a key role of FACILITIES SUPERVISOR – a role that entails National responsibility for the management & supervision of all facilities related matters, vehicle fleet and general office maintenance, all budgetary controls with regards to facilities management spend and savings delivery, as well as all reporting and analysis with reference to fleet and facilities management.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Centralised support and supervision for Facilities Management across all National offices (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Hermanus).
  2. Reviewing of current agreements and assisting with the negotiation process to nationalise all facilities service providers.
  3. Assist with obtaining quotations for and national CAPEX projects and office renovations.
  4. National document management.
  5. Management of the Company's motor fleet.
  6. Auditing current service providers (ie cleaning, security etc.) to ensure good safety and housekeeping for all National sites.
  7. Assistance with any contractual and insurance claims and collation of supporting evidence including reviewing and drafting contractual correspondence.
  8. Management of all E-tags, fines & car licences, vehicle tracking systems, fuel cards and vehicle accident claims.
  9. Analyse and issue fleet reports – ie fuel & maintenance service expenses.
  10. Ensuring maintenance of office building air-cons, generators and all general office maintenance and repairs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum of 5 years experience in Facilities Management (in a supervisory role).
  2. Minimum Qualifications: Matric + Relevant Facilities Management Qualification.
  3. Outstanding Business Acumen.
  4. Meticulous, accurate, methodical & systematic personality type.
  5. Excellent Attention to Detail.
  6. Natural interpersonal & organizational skills.
  7. MUST BE Self-motivated and able to work with own initiative.
