The Head of the Workshop will report to the Head of the maintenance department. Must be an organizer and leader within the workshop, with resource management capacity, planner, and methodical. You should know the rules for organizing a workshop. He will be responsible for the performance and organization of the workshop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and lead daily activities in an auto repair shop.
Define and keep organized areas, activity spaces, and material flows.
Prepare and maintain records of preventive maintenance and repairs.
Develop maintenance plans and activity distribution.
Control activity costs.
Select and recruit technical staff for the workshop.
Define, control, and maintain workshop and employee performance indexes.
Organize tasks, priorities, and areas of action.
Lead and organize teams.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Qualifications and Experience:
Superior technical training in equipment maintenance.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Minimum experience of 5 years in leading and managing auto repair shops and large equipment.
Knowledge of management models and error diagnosis: Lean 6 Sigma, Kanban, FMEA, 5 Whys, PDCA.
Knowledge of international maintenance standards.
Ability to plan, organize and follow up on plans.
Ability to prepare instructions and manuals.
Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, and mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
Detect skills deficits and propose training plans.
