German Intermediate Accountant (Buchhalterin / Buchhalter) - Parktown

An opportunity exists for German speaking Accountants for our German clients. The position requires the successful candidate to form an important part of the diversely talented, highly experienced team and work at the forefront of high-profile transactions, delivering high quality advice to our clients.

Requirements

• Be a South African citizen
• German (speak, read, write fluently) – non negotiable – interviews will be held in German
• SAIPA Articles completed or in process
• BCom Financial Accounting Degree / BCom Accounting Degree
• 1-2 year’s bookkeeping experience
• Daily accounting & processing for a group of clients, cashbook processing & bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations
• Provisional and income tax calculations and submissions
• General handling of SARS and customer queries
• Ensuring accurate company CIPC and IRFS compliance, GL adjustments, journals and allocations
• Full payroll functions including EMP, EMP recons and IRP5 submissions (advantageous)
• Excellent numerical skills
• High stress threshold, effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
• Effective communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with good excel skills
