As a project driven company, we are seeking a hard-working and skilled Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering Team.

Job Description

1. Design and develop innovative product designs, keeping in mind the budget, material and/or spares availability.
2. Optimize or modify existing product designs.
3. Providing installation support for the technical team on site and compile installation documentation where necessary.
4. Provide support to the team conducting factory and site acceptance tests where necessary.
5. Supporting the Procurement department for specifications, technical buying or sourcing for new equipment.
6. Evaluate overall performance, reliability and safety of the finished products/equipment.
7. Regularly reporting to the senior mechanical design engineers on the status of each project.
8. Troubleshoot design/performance problems that may arise and find solutions to resolve them.
9. Research and stay current with the ever-evolving trends and technologies in the field of mechanical design.

Qualifications

1. Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.
2. Proficiency with 3D modelling and mechanical engineering drawings.
3. Proficiency with SolidWorks package.
4. Work experience as Mechanical Design Engineer.
