Financial Accountant

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Port Elizabeth team:

1. Full responsibility for 2 international clients
2. Complete management accounts monthly
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of information on various databases
4. Weekly accuracy and completeness checks on reports
5. Liaise with commercial teams relating to international entities
6. Do weekly checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of Power BI
7. Capturing payments from customers
8. Full responsibility and ownership of customers in the European market
9. Responsible for various Accounts Payable accounts
10. Ensure expenses have all necessary information
11. Completing supplier reconciliations
12. Grower invoices and reconciliations
13. Full responsibility and ownership of certain producers
14. Preparing month-end accrual journals
15. Reconciliations of 2 systems
16. Various interest calculations and adjustments
17. Preparing elimination amounts for monthly consolidation accounts
18. VAT returns
19. Provisional tax and annual tax return calculations

Requirements

1. Grade 12
2. B.Com Accounting
3. Completed SAICA Articles
4. Minimum 2 years' post-articles experience
5. Advanced MS Excel skills
6. Valid driver's license and own transport
