Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Port Elizabeth team:
- Full responsibility for 2 international clients
- Complete management accounts monthly
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of information on various databases
- Weekly accuracy and completeness checks on reports
- Liaise with commercial teams relating to international entities
- Do weekly checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of Power BI
- Capturing payments from customers
- Full responsibility and ownership of customers in the European market
- Responsible for various Accounts Payable accounts
- Ensure expenses have all necessary information
- Completing supplier reconciliations
- Grower invoices and reconciliations
- Full responsibility and ownership of certain producers
- Preparing month-end accrual journals
- Reconciliations of 2 systems
- Various interest calculations and adjustments
- Preparing elimination amounts for monthly consolidation accounts
- VAT returns
- Provisional tax and annual tax return calculations
Requirements
- Grade 12
- B.Com Accounting
- Completed SAICA Articles
- Minimum 2 years' post-articles experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Valid driver's license and own transport
