Sales Agent

Trafalgar Durban is looking for a dynamic and professional Sales Agent to join their team as an intermediary between sellers and buyers.

Responsibilities include marketing listings and providing guidance to buyers and sellers. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in real estate.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value
2. Providing guidance and assisting sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property for the right price under the best terms
3. Determining clients’ needs and financial abilities to propose solutions that suit them
4. Intermediate negotiation processes, consulting clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters, ensuring fair and honest dealings
5. Displaying and marketing property to possible buyers
6. Preparing and completing necessary paperwork
7. Maintaining and updating listings of available properties
8. Cooperating with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders and home inspectors
9. Promoting sales through advertisements, open houses and listing services
10. Remaining knowledgeable about real estate markets and best practices
11. Attending and arranging viewings for prospective purchasers
12. Keeping sellers informed regarding any inquiries and viewings
13. Replying to and following up on email and telephone inquiries
14. Sourcing new business.

Requirements:

1. An EAAB and NQF 4 estate agency qualification certificate is a necessity
2. Matriculation
3. Experience as a Real Estate Agent
4. Proven track record of successful sales
5. Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
6. Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
7. Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
8. Pleasant and trustworthy
9. MS Office familiarity
