Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Digital Marketing Manager located in Pretoria. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for social media marketing, lead generation, marketing, web analytics, and digital marketing tasks.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
    Create and execute detailed digital marketing plans and campaigns that align with business objectives. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of these strategies to ensure ongoing success.
  2. Plan, manage, and execute Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns. Ensure all campaigns target the right audience and meet our marketing goals. Regularly assess ad performance and adjust to maximize results.
  3. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Manage content creation, posting schedules, and community engagement to increase brand visibility and user interaction.
  4. Independently manage and maintain the current website. Ensure that the website is always up to date, user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and aligned with the company’s branding and marketing objectives. Make necessary updates, optimize performance, and implement improvements as needed to keep the website running smoothly and effectively supporting marketing efforts.
  5. Conduct thorough keyword research and optimize both on-page and off-page SEO strategies. Use tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to drive organic traffic to the website and improve search engine rankings.
  6. Independently create basic graphic designs for digital marketing campaigns. This includes designing assets for web pages, social media posts, banners, email campaigns, and other digital marketing materials. Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar is essential.
  7. Write engaging and SEO-friendly articles, blogs, and other content to support marketing campaigns, improve SEO rankings, and increase website traffic. Ensure that all written content aligns with the company’s tone, brand voice, and marketing objectives.
  8. Reporting and Analysis:
    Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and business growth.
  9. Be on marketing phone standby every second week to assist with urgent marketing needs or troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  1. A degree in Business and Digital Marketing (or an equivalent qualification) with at least 3 years of professional experience in digital marketing.
  2. Google Ads and Meta Ads certifications will be an advantage.
  3. Google Analytics certification will be an advantage.
  4. Experience in social media management and online advertising.
  5. Strong understanding of SEO strategies and tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  6. Ability to create basic graphic designs independently (using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar).
  7. Strong writing skills for article creation, blog posts, and other written content.

Preferred Skills:

Fluency in both Afrikaans (home language) and English is required. Immediate availability required. Willingness to be on marketing phone standby every second week.

Proactive, adaptable, and creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

R20,000 – R30,000 per month (CTC), based on experience. Additional company benefits included.
