Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Join a leading provider of water treatment solutions in their Business Development division, based in Randfontein, Gauteng. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing and selling a comprehensive range of equipment and solutions to a diverse customer base, including intermediaries and end users.

As an OEM Applications Engineer, you will effectively communicate the technology and product positioning to both business and technical stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process while building and maintaining strong relationships. A strong background in water treatment is essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

1. BEng Chemical or Mech Engineer
2. 3-5 years water treatment industry experience
3. Sales Experience
4. Able to go underground with the clients and identifying solutions to sell to the client.
5. Tender submission experience and dealing with quotes will be beneficial.
6. Superb presentation skills (PowerPoint)
7. Valid License
8. Valid Passport
9. Willing to travel nationally and internationally

Duties:

Sales and Marketing:

1. Promote and sell the full range of equipment solutions to a diverse customer base.
2. Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
3. Generate and manage leads, including cold calling.
4. Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to turning quotes into orders.

Customer Interaction:

1. Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
2. Respond to functional and technical requests from clients promptly and accurately.
3. Understand and convey customer requirements to the engineering teams.
4. Ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

Technical Expertise:

1. Provide in-depth knowledge of water treatment solutions, including UF, RO, settlers, thickeners, and chemical dosing measurement and control instrumentation.
2. Support project implementation post-sale, ensuring technical and operational requirements are met.

Presentation and Representation:

1. Represent the company's products and solutions to customers.
2. Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs and requirements.
