Service Administrator / Technical Scheduler
Job description
Our Client is looking for a Service Administrator / Technical Scheduler, located in Sandton.

Key Responsibilities :
Administrative Duties :
- Handle incoming service requests via phone, email, or in-person visits.
- Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries, service requests, and resolutions.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Prepare reports on service activities, including trends, performance metrics, and customer feedback.
- Assist in the development and implementation of administrative procedures to streamline operations.
Technical Scheduling :
- Schedule service appointments for technicians based on customer needs and technician availability.
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and provide relevant information about the service process.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure they have the necessary tools, equipment, and information for each service appointment.
- Monitor the progress of service appointments and address any scheduling conflicts or delays proactively.
- Optimize technician schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in a technical or service-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems for data entry, scheduling, and communication.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards addressing customer needs.
- Knowledge of Samsung products and technical terminology is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
