Westfalia Fruit Marketing, situated in Tzaneen, has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Commercial Manager.

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Westfalia Marketing by effectively managing the business strategy to channel fruit into both export and local markets. This contribution will support the organization's high-performance and results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide diverse exposure to growers within each payment pool to a range of outlets.
  2. Manage the pricing strategy and communication of pricing with all customers.
  3. Forecast supply availability per customer, per variety, and per count.
  4. Implement Global Digital projects Cargo Produce Customer Facing (Avocados) in EU, UK, and Special markets.
  5. Ensure successful internal audit with less than 2.5% findings on following required systems, with controls.

Education:

BSc Agric or BCom International Trade. MBA will be advantageous.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manager within the Fruit Export Environment. Excellent experience in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of the middle and Far Eastern markets customer base. Experience with fruit software platforms such as Palbroker, QX working within an ERP system. Knowledge of the fresh fruit production/marketing industry. Valid Driver's license.

The Company offers a Total Guaranteed Remuneration Package which comprises provident fund, insured benefits, medical aid, and an option to structure an annual bonus.
