Job Description:

As a Logistics Administration Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of logistics within an organization. Your role typically involves coordinating the movement of goods, materials, or products, managing inventories, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring that the logistics operations run efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Orders
    • Processing of orders
    • Dealing with all queries related to the above accounts.
    • Ensuring all orders are processed on the day of receipt or scheduled days
    • Escalation of orders not processed to key account manager/s.
  2. Credit Notes
    • Checking and confirmation of correctness for all credits passed
    • Processing of credit notes
  3. Stock Takes
    • Scheduling of stock takes
    • Assisting in stock counts of all DC warehouses.
    • Bi-annual stock takes.
  4. People Management
    • Ensuring timely processing of orders and credits
    • Ensuring allocations are adhered to.
    • Dealing with all client queries.
    • Relieving duties for Logistics & Warehouse Manager position.
    • Ensuring adherence to all administrative processes within the DC.
  5. Administration
    • Reprinting of invoices and credits
    • Opening warehouses on stock codes.
    • Loading new prices and stock codes on Syspro and Touch, as well as adding to the price list.
    • Managing the claims process with Value.
    • Signing off on claims
    • Daily reporting
  6. Client Relationships
    • Handling all telephone and email queries from customers.
    • Ensuring a 24-hour feedback time on all inquiries.
  7. Feedback to Senior Management
    • Communicating to direct management any problems or queries that may arise
    • Generating reports for month-end packs.
    • Compiling of Conformance Report of all outbound and inbound deliveries every second week.
    • Assisting with verifying Blu hours/invoices.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Matric
  • Relevant diploma/degree would be advantageous
  • 3 – 4 years experience in a warehousing/similar industry
  • Experience in managing staff
  • Syspro experience is a must
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential
