We seek a candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills for the role of Employee Relations Practitioner, to provide expert and professional advice on all employee relations matters, in line with applicable legislation and company policy.
As an Employee Relations Practitioner, you will be required to provide labour law advice to business and prepare legal opinions where required. You will also be required to represent the company at the CCMA and ensure that the company is informed of and adheres to all applicable labour legislation and company policies and procedures.

Your Responsibilities Will Include The Following
Providing expert and professional advice on all employee relations matters, in line with relevant legislation and policy.
Ensure consistent implementation of the Group's policies and procedures.
Ensure the finalisation of ER related processes within the prescribed time frames.
Manage disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
Conduct investigations, prepare reports, and facilitate hearings as needed.
Facilitate grievances and assist the parties to resolve the issues through mediation, where necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all employee relations cases, ensuring proper documentation of investigations, actions taken, and outcomes.
Control risk exposure and ensure that the systems, controls and processes are appropriate and relevant.
Ensure that all employee relations practices comply with South African labour laws, including the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and other relevant regulations.
Support the Senior Employee Relations Practitioners and Manager to draft and amend employment related documents.
Support the Senior Employee Relations Practitioners and Manager in respect of policy review and drafting policies in line with changing legislative requirements and business methods.
Drafting of letters, notices etc.
Provide efficient labour law advice to management through recommendations, memos and consultations.
Manage statistical data relevant to IR and compile reports for analysis and draft recommendations to management regarding problematic issues and how they should be resolved.
CCMA attendance and administrative/logistical support in respect of CCMA and Labour Court litigation for Senior Employee Relations Practitioners and Manager.
Assist in the compiling of annual planned budgets, and Exco Reports.
