POSITION INFO :

One of our esteemed clients, a medium-sized consulting engineering firm with offices in Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Aliwal, George, and Bloemfontein, is urgently looking for a Consulting Electrical Engineer to be based full time at their head office in Pretoria North. They should meet the following criteria:

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of building consulting services experience.
• Minimum qualifications: B Eng or B Tech Eng.
• Good managerial skills to manage, build, and mentor a regional team of technical, administrative, and financial members.
• Manage projects from concept to closeout.
• Must have previously done lightning, power, and lightning protection designs and specifications, PV installation.
• Have drawn up tender Bills of Quantities.
• Capable of working on AutoCAD.
• Schematic layouts of distribution boards and MCCs.
• Professional writing and communication skills.
• Professional report writing.
• Have attended and kept minutes for site meetings, project meetings, office, and technical meetings.
• Energetic, ethical, and well-spoken, as to also attend to marketing and securing projects to help grow the business.
• Suitable design and project management experience.
• Able to travel nationally.
• Good secure growth opportunity.
• Driver's License.
• Self-driven and career-focused who wants to join a highly motivated and energetic team.
• Requirement: ECSA Registered Professional Electrical Engineer.
