Your day at NTT DATA

As a Power BI expert, you will join the Client Analytics team to support the Global IT Sales teams with comprehensive data analysis, valuable insights, and strategic decision support. This role operates within a multifaceted environment, encompassing various sales analytics domains, and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams. The primary responsibility of the Client Data Analyst is to use analytical experience and expertise to provide sales insights for business planning and strategic decision-making. To obtain these insights, the team will leverage your advanced Power BI capabilities, which includes connecting to multiple data sources, developing optimized schemas, and creating complex DAX formulas.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analyzing complex business problems and issues using internal and external data to provide insights to decision-makers.
• Defines, develops, enhances, and tracks metrics and dashboard requirements to deliver results and provide insight and recommendations on trends.
• Responsible for data validation using advanced data analysis and tools to ensure analytics are valid, meaningful, and provide actionable and comprehensive insights.
• Provides technical advice, consultation, and knowledge to others within the relevant teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Advanced Power BI capabilities, which includes connecting to multiple data sources, developing optimized schemas, and creating complex DAX formulas.
• Proven expertise in data analysis tools including advanced Excel, and at least one relevant coding language (for example SQL, R, Python etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a Sales or Marketing environment.
• Understanding of data security and privacy best practices is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner to nontechnical stakeholders.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science or related field.
• Formal training or certification in analytical tools including Power BI, Excel, analytical scripting languages.

Required experience:

• 2-5+ years demonstrated experience in using Power BI, statistical and quantitative analysis techniques, data visualizations, data analysis.
• Proven track record in creating and optimizing reports and dashboards that contribute to strategic decision support.
• Proven experience in providing data-driven support for business planning and strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated experience in a sales or marketing function as a data analyst.
