Job description
Part-Time Sales Development Representative (Healthcare)

Job Overview

Are you driven by meaningful connections and consultative selling? Join this team as a Part-Time Sales Development Representative focusing on healthcare and wellness solutions. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound leads, engaging them through personalized conversations—primarily via SMS—and occasionally scheduled calls. Instead of relying on scripts, you’ll invest time in active listening and thoughtful discovery, ensuring every potential client feels heard, informed, and ready to move forward.

You’ll operate with a flexible, on-call schedule, meaning that while you won’t always be active, you must be ready to respond rapidly when new leads come in. If you’re looking for a part-time opportunity that leverages your sales acumen and empathy, this position could be perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Rapid Lead Engagement
    • Monitor inbound inquiries via SMS, responding promptly to capture interest and maintain momentum.
  2. Qualify & Discover
    • Ask open-ended questions to understand each lead’s health goals, background, and pain points before aligning them with the right solutions.
  3. Consultative Approach
    • Provide insight on available healthcare services and wellness options, building credibility and trust from the start.
  4. Schedule & Coordinate
    • Set up deeper phone consultations or appointments via Calendly (or similar tools) for leads requiring more in-depth discussions.
  5. Pipeline Management
    • Update CRM and scheduling platforms with accurate lead details, status updates, and next steps.
  6. Follow-Up & Nurture
    • Send personalized follow-up messages to re-engage leads who haven’t booked yet or need additional information.
  7. Data-Driven Insights
    • Use basic Excel skills to track lead conversions, identify trends, and share feedback with the team for continuous improvement.
Qualifications

  1. Sales Mindset: You have a natural knack for identifying opportunities, overcoming objections, and moving conversations toward a close.
  2. Healthcare/Wellness Interest: Familiarity with telehealth, concierge medicine, chiropractic, or similar sectors is a plus.
  3. Communication Excellence: Superb written (SMS/email) and verbal (scheduled calls) communication skills.
  4. Tech-Friendly: Comfortable learning and navigating CRMs, scheduling software, and telehealth platforms; experience with Excel for basic data tasks is helpful.
  5. Curiosity & Empathy: Driven to uncover each lead’s specific situation and offer customized solutions that resonate.
  6. Availability & Reliability: Flexible part-time schedule with the ability to respond quickly during East Coast business hours (roughly 16:00–24:00 GMT).
  7. Organized & Detail-Oriented: Meticulous about updating records and following privacy guidelines.
Working Conditions

  1. Location: Fully remote, part-time role.
  2. Hours: Flexible schedule with on-call responsiveness.
  3. Compensation: Competitive base salary for part-time work; potential for performance-based incentives.
Why Join Us

  1. Purpose-Driven Sales: Contribute to improving clients’ health and wellness rather than simply closing transactions.
  2. Flexible Schedule: Ideal for those looking to supplement existing commitments with a dynamic, part-time role.
  3. Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience in consultative sales, healthcare tech, and CRM management.
  4. Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive environment that rewards curiosity, empathy, and proactive problem-solving.
