WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

What We Are Looking For

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Provide support to the overall RDM Supply chain strategy, in line with RDM business plan, by executing the following; Receiving of stock and services, control and management of stock, issuing of stock to end–users, material expediting for on-time delivery to end-users, coordinating material returns and management of inventory levels.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1. Ensure that the receiving process is adhered to and executed as per RDM procedures;
2. Oversee the receiving process of goods and services;
3. Ensure correct and safe stacking and storage of items in the warehouse;
4. Implement monthly and/or weekly cycle count plan and ensure that cycle counts are conducted as scheduled;
5. Ensure On-Time Goods Receipts & Binning process;
6. Apply FIFO for warehouse activities;
7. Ensure material is issued against correct documentation and process;
8. Monitor critical stock levels daily;
9. Maintain correct re-order point levels in the warehouse;
10. Ensure material availability in the warehouse at all times;
11. Ensure that the correct return to supplier process is followed;
12. Maintain 5s housekeeping and cleanliness in the warehouse;
13. Maintain correct archiving and filing of documentation in the warehouse;
14. Set and communicate performance targets with the warehouse team;
15. Ensure daily implementation, monitoring and updating of Mini Business Unit board (MBU) for the warehouse;
16. Run and analyze daily warehouse performance reports;
17. Ensure that all the SHE requirements in the warehouse are adhered to;
18. Maintain strict access control in the warehouse.

What Qualifications You Should Have

POST REQUIREMENTS:

1. National Diploma in the fields of Supply Chain, Operations Management or Engineering.
2. At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in supply chain or warehousing environment.
3. At least 2 years’ experience and transactional knowledge of SAP.
4. Analytical and data handling skills especially for warehouse management.
5. Knowledge of inventory management tools.
6. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Technical knowledge or experience will be an added advantage.
8. Professionalism and high level of integrity.
9. Attention to detail.
10. Good leadership skills.
11. Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
12. Valid Forklift license.
13. Willingness to work shifts and overtime whenever required.
