SMD Technologies is looking for a Key Accounts Manager to join our expanding furniture division. Unlock the growth of selling some of South Africa’s most beloved brands through various online platforms. He/she will maintain direct relationships with various buyers on these platforms and manage ongoing new revenue-related projects together with the Category Key Accounts Managers to ensure the perfect proposition for our clients.
Delivering the online sales targets for various online eRetailer/eCommerce platforms will be your main focus point.
Responsibilities:
Manage all online activity in relation to platform traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, and reporting.
Develop and implement an eCommerce strategy to actively stimulate your accounts and prospects, translating the strategy into feasible operational tactics.
Analyze patterns in terms of development potential, profitability, and sales revenues, and develop and implement necessary plans of action.
Build a sustainable relationship with existing account category buyers.
Answer day-to-day client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Work closely with internal departments such as supply chain, planning, marketing teams, and finance to ensure perfect execution of sales.
Analyze sales results in depth to jointly develop new ways to optimize account performance.
Support the development of eCommerce and omni-channel strategies.
Create & write SEO optimized product listings, track page performance, and increase listing conversions.
Conduct data analysis to deliver data-driven strategies driving top-performing product listings and achieve set KPIs.
Develop promotional calendars for all your platforms and categories.
Requirements:

Qualifications/Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in eCommerce or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of Excel.
Knowledge of attribution modeling, conversion copywriting, buyer journey, traffic analysis, and reporting tools (advantageous).
Enthusiastic, takes initiative, and has perseverance.
A team player with good social and communication skills.
