Our client in the Hospitality Industry based in Grahamstown is currently looking to employ a Duty Manager.
Salary: R10,000 – R15,000 per month, dependent on experience.
Requirements:
- Relevant formal Hospitality qualification is advantageous.
- Experience in the hospitality industry essential.
- 2 years’ experience in managerial position.
- Valid Driver’s License essential.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Enthusiastic individual with good communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Oversee daily operations as well as the restaurant.
- Restaurant preparation and service – Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Supervise and support hotel staff to ensure high standards of service.
- Monitor and maintain guest satisfaction levels.
- Address and resolve any issues that may arise during a guest’s stay.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Assist other departments as needed.
