An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse, with an interest in Drug and Alcohol Recovery, to work within the Drug Treatment and Testing Order Team. The post is based in Inverness, covering Highland wide with potential travelling to Fort William and Caithness.
You will work within an integrated Health and Social Care team under the supervision of the Senior Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse. You should possess sound clinical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a range of clinical skills—including the ability to offer therapeutic interventions and deliver safe, effective care to a diverse client population. Under the supervision of the Senior Community Drug and Alcohol Nurse, you will be required to carry out assessments, implement treatment plans and deliver written reports to the Courts as required.
This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team. You should possess good interpersonal skills and a commitment to joint working.
Relevant post-registration experience in the Drug and Alcohol field is desirable. A full current driving licence and use of a car for work purposes is essential.
