Distribution Centre Manager – Empangeni, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa (Full-Time)

We're seeking a dynamic, results-driven, full-time Distribution Centre Manager for our client who operates a high-volume dairy product production company distributing through depots located throughout KZN, Gauteng and parts of Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, take personal ownership of their responsibilities, and have a strong drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily depot operations (40% of role)
2. Drive sales growth (60% of role)
3. Manage inventory and logistics
4. Lead and develop a team of ~ employees
5. Ensure safety compliance and cost-effective operations
6. Proactive self-starter with excellent business acumen
7. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
8. Exceptional customer relationship management
9. Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and willing to learn Mosaic
10. Fluent in English and isiZulu would be a great advantage

Requirements:

1. 5+ years in FMCG, with 3+ years in a similar role
2. Proven sales and marketing track record
3. Valid code 8 driver's license and PDP
4. Business degree / diploma preferred but not essential
