The Student Finance Division’s functions include the following:

1. Management of student accounts.

Requirements:

1. SAICA registered Chartered Accountant with completed articles and an honours degree.
2. At least five years’ relevant managerial experience.
3. Proven experience in personnel management.
4. Excellent skills in judgment, decision-making and problem-solving.
5. Strong organisational and planning skills.
6. The ability to work effectively under pressure.
7. A strong accounting and financial background.
8. Time management skills.
9. The ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
10. The ability to take initiative and provide guidance on senior level.
11. Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
12. Good written and verbal communication skills.
13. Strong interpersonal skills.

Recommendations:

1. Three years’ experience in a higher teaching or similar institution.
2. MBA.
3. Experience with debt collection.
