Cascadia Health delivers whole health care – integrated mental health and addiction services, primary care, and housing – to promote hope and support the well-being of the communities we serve.

Cascadia operates three locked residential homes in the Portland Metro area for adults who experience severe and persistent mental health challenges. Employees work as a team to provide comprehensive services that focus on psychiatric treatment, personal care, skills training, and case management. Our residents are referred from the counties or the state and must either be under commitment or have a guardian. The focus of treatment is on immediate safety and preparing individuals to live in a less restrictive environment.
Respite is a voluntary program that occurs within a safe and relaxed atmosphere, away from the stressors that may be impacting an individual's sense of security and stability. Residents at Respite receive three meals a day, interact in the milieu, explore hobbies, take a walk in a quiet neighborhood setting, and always receive on-site support from caring and skillful respite staff.
The Director, Clinical Programs is responsible for oversight of a unique area of Cascadia services. This includes clinical model development and implementation, business development and growth, establishing and maintaining good community relationships; program development and operations; hiring, training, development and termination of employees; financial planning and budgets; program oversight, risk management, and quality improvement.

A Masters Degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university. Demonstrate the competencies to become credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). A minimum of three years of clinical experience providing services is required (must include two years post Masters). Three years of supervisory experience is also required.
Possess a valid drivers license, three year driving history; clean driving record.
Environmental: Work is performed in a residential and supportive housing setting. The Clinical Director is required to travel to other locations for meetings during the workday.
Mental Demands: The Clinical Director must be able to handle a variable work flow, manage time effectively, prioritize activities.
Physical Demands: The Clinical Director must have the ability to assist the team in providing safety to all clients and staff in potentially volatile situations.
