Development Engineer : Software / Software Developer

Key Duties:

1. Develop software for operator-facing, mission-critical applications in C2 and ISR systems.
2. Own features from requirements through design, implementation, and testing (front-end and back-end).
3. Research new technologies to understand user requirements and implement features.
4. Contribute to production efforts and generate project deliverables (design, testing, documentation, verification).
5. Implement engineering processes and provide minor support as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
2. Proficiency in C++, Java, or similar languages.
3. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
4. Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software patterns.
5. Experience with version control (Git, Subversion, Perforce) and Agile methodologies (Jira).

Recommended Experience:

1. 3-7 years of relevant experience.
2. Modern C++ (C++), XML, XSLT, JSON, YAML.
3. Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is a plus.
