Developer Relations Engineer - Crypto & AI (Cape Town - Remote)

Token Metrics is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Developer Relations Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role combines expertise in blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and developer community engagement.

1. Serve as the primary liaison between Token Metrics and the developer community, fostering strong relationships and driving adoption of our platform.
2. Create comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, and sample code to support developers using our tools and APIs.
3. Develop and deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and webinars on Token Metrics' technology and its applications in the crypto and AI space.
4. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to gather developer feedback and influence product roadmap.
5. Actively participate in blockchain and AI conferences, hackathons, and online forums to promote Token Metrics and stay abreast of industry trends.
6. Build and maintain demo projects showcasing the capabilities of Token Metrics' platform, with a focus on integrating AI and blockchain technologies.

1. Proven experience in developer relations, technical evangelism, or a similar role within the blockchain or AI industry.
2. Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, Solidity, and Rust.
3. Hands-on experience with the ai16z framework for building AI agents.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
5. Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized applications.
6. Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in their application to the crypto space.
7. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
8. Passion for emerging technologies and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks.

1. Experience contributing to open-source projects in the blockchain or AI domains.
2. Knowledge of token economics and DeFi protocols.
3. Previous work with large language models and AI agents.
4. Track record of creating developer-focused content (blog posts, videos, podcasts).
