Requirements:

• A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 7) as recognised by SAQA in Supply Chain Management/ Commerce/ BTech in Logistics. 3-5 years’ experience in the Demand and Contract Management environment at an Assistant Director level.

Duties:

• Manage the functional operation of the Sub Directorate: Demand and Contract Management in SCM. Provide an integrated demand, acquisition, and contract management service of key commodities of the department through development, implementation, and maintenance of a transformative approach to sourcing. End-to-end management of the sourcing process, supplier relationship and performance management. Internal stakeholder management and delivery of optimal commercial benefits to the Department. Manage and deliver multiple procurement projects in a commercial environment. Understand local industry, including cost drivers, supply and demand, innovations, vendor landscape, etc. Lead a team of procurement specialists to deliver the organisation’s long-term procurement strategy. Develop and implement policies and tools to facilitate service delivery and compliance with the SCM legislative framework.

Criteria Questions:

Do you have a three-year qualification e.g. Degree in Supply Chain Management at NQF level 7 as recognised by SAQA, i.e. Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Degree in Commerce/ BTech in Logistics?
