Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science or relevant equivalent qualification.
  2. 5 years working experience in stakeholder relations/partnerships of which 3 years must be at management/supervisory level (ASD).
  3. Understanding of stakeholder management, Public Participation Framework, government policies, policy implementation, and evaluation process.
  4. Advanced report writing skills, policy presentation and protocol skills.
  5. Good governance and Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Regulations, and Public Finance Management Act.
  6. Computer literacy, communication (verbal & written), and project management skills.
  7. Planning and organizing, team leadership, event management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  8. Applied strategic thinking, networking, and building bonds.
  9. Driver's Licence.

Duties:

  1. Manage the facilitation of Civil Society Partnerships, develop and manage Civil Society Partnerships policies and procedure manuals.
  2. Develop and update procedures, methods, policies, and guidelines for Civil Society Partnerships.
  3. Develop, coordinate, and maintain Civil Society Partnerships programmes.
  4. Manage the identification of role players to support crime prevention.
  5. Manage and facilitate Civil Society Partnerships, participate and contribute in Civil Society Partnerships.
  6. Develop, manage, and continuously update the database of stakeholders.
  7. Research and analyse crime prevention initiatives.
  8. Manage and review Civil Society Stakeholders, develop and implement plans to evaluate Civil Society Partnerships crime prevention initiatives.
  9. Develop concept notes for civil society partnerships engagement with stakeholders.
  10. Write reports, presentations, and engagements with civil society partners.
  11. Facilitate the development of civil society partners and signing of related working agreements or MOUs.
  12. Provide inputs on conducting needs analysis by means of appropriate tools.
  13. Manage the provision of the identification of relevant initiatives to support crime prevention.
  14. Manage the Civil Society Partnerships stakeholders’ engagement and identify Civil Society Partnerships initiatives for the Sub-Directorate.
  15. Management of resources (Human resources and financial resources).
