Dental Technician - Johannesburg

Our client, a high-tech dental surgery based in Johannesburg, is seeking to recruit an experienced Dental Technician.

Requirements:

1. Design high-level procedures, particularly those involving implants, digital smile designs and other complex dental work
2. Ability to assist the clinician with a variety of dental procedures including general and specialised care
3. Use moulds, digital impressions and other measurements to create dental prosthetics that fit the patient's mouth and meet their specific requirements
4. Fabricate dental prosthetics using a variety of materials
5. Adjust, repair and modify dental prosthetics as needed
6. Maintain dental laboratory equipment and keep the work area clean and organised
7. Keep accurate records
8. Stay up to date with advances in dental technology and materials

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2 - 5 years experience
2. Dental Technician Qualification
3. Active HPCSA registration
4. Experience in CAD/CAM and EXOCAD is essential
5. Experience in Digital Smile Design (DSD) or similar tools is essential
6. Experience in Nemotech software will be advantageous
7. Cosmetic dentistry experience will be advantageous

Skills and Attributes:

1. Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials and laboratory techniques
2. Proficiency in using dental tools, equipment, and technology
3. Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08h00 - 17h00
Saturday 08h00 - 12h00
