Description

A key role in our multinational pharmaceutical organization. We seek an experienced Demand Planner with SAP ERP expertise to develop and implement Inventory plans, enabling us to meet Sales and Service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Management: Maintain the Forecasting, Purchase Orders and Sales Planning database, ensuring ongoing accuracy and integrity.
• Reporting: Extract, generate and analyze stock reports from the database to assess current stockholding, sales history and forecasting of future planned orders.
• Global Reporting: Provide real-time reporting to the Supply Chain Manager for global reporting purposes.
• Planning Requirements: Analyze and conclude immediate ST and LT planning requirements for individual SKU's, taking into account sales trends and market conditions.
• Liaison with Quality Department: Collaborate with the Quality department regarding quarantine, short-dated stock, blocked and returned stock, and potential stock releases to optimize working capital and stockholding levels.
• Demand Plan Implementation: Implement a finalized demand plan and maintain liaison with suppliers and other relevant third parties to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Stock Management: Engage with distributors in stock receiving, holding, reworking of stock, and stock write-offs to minimize losses and maximize efficiency.
• Agent Liaison: Maintain effective communication with agents to ensure timely forwarding, shipping, clearing, and delivery of stock shipments.
• S&OP Forum: Drive and facilitate S&OP forums to align sales, marketing, and supply chain teams on strategic goals and initiatives.
• NPI Forum: Attend and contribute to NPI forums, providing planning analysis to cross-functional teams, including Quality, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Finance.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Participate in and contribute to ad hoc Supply Chain optimization projects and initiatives to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Warehouse & Distribution Partner Management: Manage relationships with warehouse and distribution partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Demand Planner in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
• Logistics experience of at least 3 years.
• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent software required.
• Strong experience with DRP/MRP functionality.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
