Qualification Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in debt collection or credit control
• Experience in a legal environment is advantageous
• NQF qualification / diploma or degree preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and M-Files
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve debt collection targets and ensure operational effectiveness
• Draft legal documents and handle debt recovery processes
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, attorneys, and tracing agents
• Provide timely and accurate internal and external reports
• Maintain accurate records and update collection notes in M-Files
• Follow proactive debt recovery approaches to secure payments
• Monitor impact on insurance policies and ensure compliance with deadlines
