Job description

Debriefing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the debriefing department

  • Debrief Local and Cross Border manifests and reconcile budgets

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the department's short-term and long-term goals

  • Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth

  • Manage driver trip payments process

  • Monitor budgeting expenses

  • Operate at a high-performance level and install a high-performance culture in subordinates

  • Conduct performance evaluations for staff

  • Prepare monthly reports and present to the General Manager

  • Determine department goals and KPIs

  • Collect Cash Returns and pay in at Cash Office / Control Room

  • Assist in driver queries and manifest discrepancies

  • Handle filing and general administrative duties

  • Extract outstanding Debriefing Reports from the System and liaise with Operations

  • Assist with operations admin / refunds & amendments

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of a diploma/degree in business management or similar

  • Computer literacy (MS Office / Company system)

  • Meticulous, accurate, and attention to detail

  • Numeric skills

  • Organized, deadline-oriented

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Trustworthy

  • Team player

  • Must be able to work weekends when necessary

  • Must be able to work extended hours when required

  • Own transport
