Job description

An innovative and fast-growing technology firm is seeking a financially savvy, high-energy individual to join their front-office team in a business development capacity. This is a dynamic role ideal for candidates aiming to grow into a senior deal-making position. The company offers a web-based SaaS platform that enables businesses to manage share incentive plans and is expanding its international footprint.

This position is best suited to a self-driven individual who thrives in high-performance environments and is eager to master B2B sales skills while directly contributing to the company’s global growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research to identify prospective clients and business opportunities in local and international markets.
  2. Drive lead generation and build long-term relationships through outreach and networking, including participation in industry events.
  3. Plan daily work schedules to target both existing and new leads, focusing on engaging key decision-makers.
  4. Lead outbound sales and business development campaigns, managing outreach and setting up meetings with potential clients.
  5. Conduct product demonstrations and engage directly with C-level stakeholders to present solutions and negotiate pricing and proposals.
  6. Close deals and manage the full sales process from initial engagement through to final agreement.
  7. Develop strategic partnerships that support business growth and market expansion.
  8. Maintain deep product knowledge to effectively communicate platform capabilities and value propositions.
  9. Participate in weekly sales team meetings and share insights on sales performance, pipeline status, and challenges.
  10. Provide market feedback to internal teams to support product improvements and competitive positioning.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Financially literate with strong commercial acumen.
  2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  3. Comfortable engaging at executive level with C-suite stakeholders.
  4. Proactive, results-driven, and eager to learn in a technology-focused environment.
  5. Strong time management, planning, and organisational skills.
  6. Capable of delivering tailored presentations and proposals.
  7. Open to feedback and continuous professional development.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Qualified CA, CFA Level 2 / 3, LLB, or experience as a Product Specialist.
  2. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  3. Strong interest in technology, finance, or B2B software platforms.
  4. Experience in selling SaaS or financial technology solutions.
  5. Previous client-facing roles in financial services, legal, or consulting sectors.
  6. Exposure to global markets and institutional clients.
