About the Role

As a Data Scientist III, you will conduct statistical analysis and build predictive models for a variety of performance outcomes. The incumbent will have a firm understanding of data mining, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, merging and parsing large amounts of data to detect meaningful trends and patterns.
• Developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Interpreting, documenting and successfully communicating analytic work and/or results to stakeholders, including those in non-analytic roles.
• Analyzing and mining large amounts of data using multiple analytic stacks such as Python, Linux, SQL etc.
• Applying Machine Learning, Data Mining, and/or Statistical methods to build advanced models. Able to roll into production with senior guidance.
• Keeping the team’s priorities in mind when working independently.

Requirements

• Have at minimum undergraduate in relevant field and 4+ relevant work experience. Or a master in a relevant field and 2+ of relevant work experience.
• Have experience in relevant skills and software packages.
• Have fluency with presentation and document programs such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
• Have experience working with Big Data Technologies and applying large scale Machine Learning techniques within these technologies.
• Have experience in building predictive models using Python, R or similar software package.
