Requirements
- Knowledge of the financial services industry
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in compliance, risk management or legal within the financial services industry

- Tertiary qualification: A degree or diploma in Risk Management / IT / Finance / Internal Audit / Law / Finance
- Registered Compliance Officer with the FSCA and RE Exam completion is advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Compliance Duties
- Basic knowledge of FICA & FAIS & POPIA
- Perform transactional monitoring for the FNZ business
- Perform compliance monitoring across business clients
- Monitor internal compliance risk management controls
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation for FNZ SA and its clients, where required
- Maintain the recording of compliance monitoring findings, and related reporting
- Communicate with business and clients regarding findings and feedback
- Participate in client compliance
- Provide assistance and guidance to the business
- Daily sanction screening for PEPs, terrorists, persons of interest and communicate the findings
- Monitor business transactions and processes to various pieces of legislation
Data & Risk Management Duties
- Data analysis skills
- Basic coding experience in programming languages / data manipulation tools such as R, Python or SQL, which is advantageous
- Translate user requirements into highly specified reporting
- Reduce manual tasks and direct costs as well as provide efficiencies through use of technology
- Basic understanding of databases, data visualization, and data management
- Perform risk assessments
- Risk events / incidents analysis
- Root cause analysis
- Project management knowledge
- Risk and control identification
- Assist with risk management activities
- Support the identification and assessment of risks within the enterprise and operational risk categories
- Engage in the continuous monitoring and evaluation of the risk landscape, recommending improvements to risk management practices and controls
