Data Platform Engineer
As the Data Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Data Platform team, collaborating closely with the Data Engineering and Performance Analytics team. You will administer and maintain a robust data platform through seamless data integration, high-performance analytics, and adherence to data governance and compliance standards. You will report directly to the Data Platform Manager.
Location: WFH (Remote)
Hours: 40 (per week)

What Your Day-to-Day will Look Like:
Your primary responsibility will be harnessing the power of the Power BI platform and Microsoft Azure to create robust data solutions that enable other teams to extract actionable insights efficiently. You will work closely with the data engineering and data analytics teams to design, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and data models that meet the needs of the business.
You will utilize your extensive knowledge of Power BI and Power Platform to create datasets and data models that enable the business to derive actionable insights. You will create and maintain data models ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. You will work on integrating Power BI solutions with Microsoft Azure services to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
You will continuously monitor and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, and you will implement data governance best practices, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations. You will also document data models, data flows, SQL, T-SQL, Entra scripts, and Power BI solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
