We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our database and ensuring that all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

As a key member of our organization, you will have the responsibility of entering various types of data including but not limited to customer information, transaction records, and inventory details into our systems.

You will work closely with other teams to verify that the data has been inputted correctly and will assist in any necessary updates or corrections.

This role requires an individual who is highly organized, possesses exceptional typing skills, and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  1. Enter and maintain data in databases and spreadsheets promptly and accurately.
  2. Verify data input for accuracy and completeness before finalizing entries.
  3. Assist in preparing reports and data summaries as needed by management.
  4. Perform regular checks on data accuracy and conduct data cleanup initiatives.
  5. Respond to data inquiries from team members and provide assistance as required.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to collect necessary data for entry.
  7. Adhere to company policies and data protection measures to ensure confidentiality.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role.
  2. Proficient in typing with a high level of accuracy and speed.
  3. Strong knowledge of data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Familiarity with data protection regulations and best practices.
