Data Analyst - Cape Town, South Africa - C40 Cities

We seek a proactive and highly motivated Data Analyst to join our client's team in Cape Town. You will work closely with the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to generate regular and on-demand reports for internal stakeholders and teams across all investing entities.

You will utilise a rapidly growing dataset for both regular and ad hoc reporting, monitor real-time forecast returns for multiple investment funds, and contribute to the company's ongoing efforts in automation and process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of periodical reporting outputs
• Leverage the system's rapidly expanding dataset for regular and ad hoc reporting
• Work with various internal departments to monitor forecast returns across multiple investment funds on a 'live' basis
• Support the company's ongoing push towards automation and process improvement
• Help support the quarterly/annual reporting process
• Provide assistance with other ad hoc reporting requirements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
• Strong proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience in analysing data and presenting clear, concise summaries preferable
• Knowledge of Anaplan preferable, but not essential
