Data Analyst

Our client is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join their innovative fleet tracking company. You will be responsible for providing analytical reports for business insights, innovation, and optimization.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing analytical reports as required for business insight, innovation, and optimization.
2. Ensuring that all records are in line with company procedure and accepted practices.
3. Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases.
4. Design and create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
5. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand data sources and ensure accurate reporting.
6. Interpret data trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
7. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reports and dashboards.
8. Conduct regular data quality checks and troubleshoot reporting issues.
9. Assist in the development of data models to optimize report performance.
10. Provide training and support to end-users on report utilization and data interpretation.
11. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data reporting and visualization.

Requirements:

1. Degree, Diploma or IT Related certification.
2. SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
3. Power BI for report creation and dashboard development.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
5. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL or LTE processes.
6. Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Experience in a similar reporting or data analysis role is preferred.
8. Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
9. Advanced SQL skills (e.g., joins, subqueries, aggregations).
10. Expertise in Power BI functionalities (e.g., DAX, Power Query).
11. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
