Cybersecurity Analyst

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team to protect our organization from cyberattacks by monitoring our systems and evaluating threats as they arise.

Responsibilities

1. Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause
2. Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
3. Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
4. Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news
5. Perform penetration testing
6. Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management

Requirements and Skills

1. Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
2. Experience in information security or related field
3. Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
4. Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
5. Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
6. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred
