Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in incident response and security investigations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Analyze and interpret security alerts from various tools and systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and policies.
• Assist in developing and executing cyber security awareness programs.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, trends, and mitigation techniques.
• Support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols, security concepts, and risk management.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and antivirus software.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A passion for learning and staying ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or Cisco CCNA Security.
• Internship or academic projects related to cyber security.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools.
