CV IAM Sales Representative

Job description:

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Aftermarket Commercial Vehicles sales team as a Sales Representative based in Pinetown. You will be joining a dynamic customer centric team striving for continuous business growth. If you are passionate about sales and commercial vehicles, we would love to hear from you.

What you could expect as a CV IAM Sales Representative:

1. Develop business relationships with CV IAM customers in the region (Truck and Trailer) to promote the sale of ZF parts in the IAM channel.
2. Manage distributor/customer sales to reach sales target and to enhance position on the market.
3. Communicate business potentials from CV IAM customers within sales structure in order to create competitive product offerings.
4. Communicate product introductions/changes, provide quotations and feedback to customers.
5. Communicate customer order placement internally and provide feedback to customers on availability.
6. Monitor market on a daily basis and provide detailed sales forecasts.
7. Provide on-site training courses and technical advice on ZF products and systems.
8. General Technical support at OE Trailer builders – Technical support & testing, EOL signoffs, troubleshooting etc.

What we expect from you as a CV IAM Sales Representative:

1. Matric + Minimum 5 years’ experience of sales in the Automotive market; technical qualification in mechanical engineering/experience will be an advantage.
2. People & customer management experience with strong moderation skills.
3. Effective communication, influencing & collaboration skills among various audiences.
4. Knowledge of ZF products, footprint, structures, and processes.
5. Strong Negotiation skills.
6. High attention to detail, self-starter, and entrepreneurial spirit to grow the business.
7. Driver’s license.
