Job description
Why do we need you?
  1. Respond quickly and efficiently to all incoming sales enquiries via telephonic or email.
  2. Follow-up on all queries, preparing proposals where necessary.
  3. Assisting with technical advice/support and recommending alternative products when applicable.
  4. Processing of Customer Quotes and Orders timeously and accurately.
  5. Liaising with FWD Agents/Warehouse for packing of containers and loading of Trucks – Exw.

This role requires an individual who has the ability to self-manage their daily tasks and make calculated decisions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal, SARS, VAT, and SARB policies. The export industry is challenging and requires attention to detail and commercial maturity. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the export industry. The candidate should also possess relationship management capability and the ability to interact at all levels.

To make sure nothing is forgotten

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will coordinate the sales activity within the OTI Exports Division, processing Quotes, Orders, and Purchase Requisitions. You will liaise with freight forwarders and other stakeholders in expediting cross-border and sea freight orders.
