Customer Service Agent

DESCRIPTION: To retain existing and drive new business within agreed rates and credit policies by promoting the image, products, and services of the individual units available in buildings assigned to the sales agent and the Ithemba Group as a whole.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Administer incoming prospective leads across various platforms by contacting the applicants, verifying the information provided, and obtaining additional details when necessary.
2. Respond to incoming communications on all platforms, monitoring requests, identifying requirements, and providing automated responses to inquiries.
3. Contact prospective tenants to assist with their queries, provide necessary information, and ensure lead verification before transferring the lead to the sales agent.
4. Develop a thorough understanding of the lease charges outlined in the pricelist and the lease process, enabling clear communication of this information to prospective tenants.
5. Support the prospective tenant in completing the required application forms and assist them in understanding the application process to ensure a smooth transition.
6. Aid in closing the deal by confirming payment of the lease fee and/or full deposit from the prospective tenant.
7. Collaborate with the transfer team by identifying tenant needs, offering guidance, and assisting in the seamless transfer process between buildings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. Grade 12 (Essential)
2. Real Estate Qualification (Advantageous)
3. Minimum 1 year Sales Experience (Essential)
4. Excellent Telephone Etiquette
5. Communication Skills
6. Ability to Speak at least 3 African languages
