Are you interested in joining a team that is going to revolutionise how counter terrorism police operate in the UK?
Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) is establishing a brand-new Data Science Unit, based in Manchester, which will play a key role in supporting the national effort to disrupt the terrorist threat and keep people safe.
The team are recruiting for a variety of roles, including the position of Solution Architect.
This role represents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to get in on the ground floor and help shape a new department, which will deliver a range of pioneering services to the counter terrorism policing network and key partners, including:
As a Solution Architect, the successful candidate would be expected to be responsible for the design and documentation of the architecture at the application layer.
They will support the Business and other areas of NCTPHQ by translating project requirements, identifying and developing strategically aligned technical solutions, in conjunction with Managed Service Providers, third parties and partner agencies.
They will develop solution architecture models for projects and plans to drive forward the strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business performance.
They will provide expert advice on Counter Terrorism Policing solutions and how they fit together architecturally across the organisation.
In addition to technical expertise, we are also looking for proactive team players who have a real passion for innovation and developing best practice for the public sector.
